More Sanctions On Russia Equals To A More Widened War

Crazy Man Putin

First off, please read the article called “New Sanctions Will Hurt More Than Russia” it is very interesting, to say the least.

I have been saying over and over again since the beginning of this conflict, to leave the Russian Bear alone, and to mind our own business.  Ukraine is a border country with Russia and even belonged to Russia at one point in the past.   For whatever reason, Russia feels that it does not want a Western influenced country on its border, especially one that belonged to them in the past.  Many will argue that Putin is trying to get back part of the old Russia at any cost, and it kind of looks that way.  However, you are not dealing with a reasonable person.  The more you poke him, the more he is going to lash out at you and the more popular he will get among his people.  Putin is very hard headed, cold hearten, calculated man.  He figures if the cards are already against him, he will drop plan A and go for plan B.  This would be an all out assault on Ukraine to bring it back under Russia.  Europe and the West will do nothing about it, simply because they can’t.  It would hurt more to try and stop him, then to just leave him alone.  No one has the stomach for World War III, and especially over a small country that doesn’t even belong to NATO or the EU.   I believe that stronger sanctions are not the answer, since it would hurt the World Economy.  I say if you are hell bent on stopping Russia from taking over Ukraine, then a very provocative, bold and risky military move must be made against the rebels directly, and call it retaliation for their downing of the civilian plane, and their refusal to cooperate with the world community to have the inspectors do their job, and to bring closure to the families of those lost.   This will shock Putin and will either make him seriously think about backing off or provoke him into war.  Unfortunately, if you are not willing to take that risk, then we must be careful with our words and actions moving forward.  There is no winning solution here.  This is my opinion anyway.  Ukraine will have to fight this out themselves.
